Many Gods, Conflicting Theories - Who is Right?
How can anyone tell you who God is? How can a church, a religion, or any teacher tell you who or what God is? They can not!. Have they seen Him? Have they talked to Her? Of course not! Not in the physical sense that so many seem to think that God is in.
Our language is not rich enough to put into words the incredible unlimited nature of God. The only thing anyone can do is describe to you how they have come to know and experience God. And even then the fullness and intensity of their experience will be lost in their words.
If you have been reading the various spiritual books on the topic of God and spirituality you may have noticed many inconsistencies or contradictions amongst authors. This includes all books; “The Bible” as well as the huge volume of modern books available to us.
You may have read some books that have been channeled and thought, “Because some spiritual entity is teaching through this author or speaker it must be true.” Then you read another author and find contradictions. How can they both be right?
Please keep in mind that the spiritual truth is given but the channeler (or author) may have blocks, judgments or set ideas about certain topics. These will interfere with accurate channelings. The truth is so much bigger than can be put into words; much of it gets lost as it is condensed down into the limited constructs that we use to communicate with.
You must consider the perspective that the communication is coming from and of the issue being addressed. It would be like a being from another planet trying to describe planet earth from his space ship orbiting the earth or while standing in the desert. The description may be accurate from those perspectives, yet there are many other descriptions that could be given from many other perspectives that are also accurate. How much different would the description be if this being were standing on the ocean floor?
God is everywhere and everything; there is nowhere that God is not. There is nothing outside of God, not even you and I. We exist inside of God; indeed we are a part of God, an inseparable part. There is no part of us that is not God. However, we are at the leading creative edge of God. We are expanding the Universe, we are expanding God, with each and every thought we think and with each new experience we have.
God is not some being that can somehow be perceived standing in some specific spot in creation. God is every single particle of all of creation in each and every dimension. God is the “All That Is.” To describe God is to compare God to something else and that something else is God too! Can you see how difficult it is try to explain God? You must experience God for yourself!
We do have many lifetimes. I am absolutely convinced of this. Some people find this difficult to believe. Why? Is it any more amazing than we exist at all?
I went through a five-year period in my life where I suffered with extremely painful back pains every single night. I tried doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists; I tried more than one of each and found no relief. One day I did a past life regression on myself. That night, no more back pain! And I have not had them since. This was an instant healing!
You can read this amazing story in my Unforgettable: A Love and Spiritual Growth Story. You will also find the story of how my late wife Kathryn healed a twenty-five year loss of smell and a severe skin condition that lasted ten-years…it prevented her from putting her hands in water! All three of these stories were miraculous healings that occurred as a result of becoming aware and changing our thinking! I also expand more on the conclusions my spiritual journey has brought me to in this book.
Your Personal Spiritual Discoveries
I don’t want to convince you of what you should believe about God or spirituality. However, I do want to convince you to reach for your own experience and understanding. I know that when you do get in touch with the vast spiritual being that you are, you will have experiences that will seem miraculous.
The truth is that these miracles are natural. When you shed the false ideas you have been taught all your life and discover for yourself the true nature of your being you will realize that true spirituality is practical, very practical!
You will discover that by using true spiritual principals you can make every action you take count. This beats the widely popular, yet false belief, that working hard and suffering in the hopes of some future gain is a worthy and noble way to live. When you clarify your awareness you may still find yourself working long hours, but they will be inspired hours that fly by. Those hours will infuse you with life force energy and heal any suffering you may have had in your life.
Love and blessings,

I do believe in a personal God, and I call myself a Christian, yet I agree that you have more of a grip on whatever God may be than some members of my faith. I have a hard time accepting that one faith is right and the others are wrong. I’ve been called a relevantist more than once among other things, but all of the monotheistic faiths are largely based on sacred texts and there is always the capacity for human error in writing and translation. I find it hard to believe that God will condemn faithful Hindus, Muslims, Jews, even those who embrace the pagan faiths to hell. Jesus speaks to me, not literally, but I do know that he reaches out to me. Yet I’ve read the writings of the Norse who followed many gods and I know there is a revival of Germanic paganism. Many of the ideas are comparative. In short, God is ineffable and there is much we cannot know. I can handle that. Life is complicated. But a lot of people need blueprints or they cannot survive life. I tend to think they cause more harm than good when it comes to spiritual truth and light.

I am a Christian by faith. I have studied many religions and their teachings and I am still a Christian not so much for the “promise” but for the teaching that Christ gave to His followers. The message is important. All of the other trimming, the theology, the “proof” is unimportant because it is in His teaching, His words that I am attracted. I know I can never be perfect, but I can be better…..a little better each day. I can tweak my soul and move closer to the message, but I have to know the message and listen to the lesson.
If someone tries to prove Christ to me, tries to put Christianity into a box, then they have “lost” me because for me, they have missed the point.
Love your neighbor as much as yourself (that’s is much harder than it sounds) and Love God …….2 commandments….that’s all.
I don’t worry about what someone else believes, that’s between that person and God. From the Bhagavad Gita….”As a man believes…so he is”……so true….so true.

We can become perfect and I know this as a fact, I know this from experience, and I know it from the teachings of masters such as Jesus and many others. “Be yea perfect even as your father in heaven is perfect.”
The thing that stands between us and perfection are our habits. I have found that I can reprogram myself and thus change my habits. I have not yet reached perfection myself, but I have come a very long way towards that perfection and am able to deal in a loving way with so much more than the average person can. (Not meant as a judgment, but as an observable fact.) Our imperfections are of a limited nature…we will eventually run out of them if we continue to reprogram ourselves.
It is not difficult for me to love my neighbor as much as I love myself. It used to be, but it is not any longer. The reason is that as I have cleaned up my habits of thought (which affects my behaviors) I have been gifted with greater levels of awareness and ability to love my neighbor much more whole heartedly.
I encourage all people to strive for perfection, to not judge themselves or others for not being there, but to take each mistake and use it as the next place for their own personal reprogramming efforts.
I have posted a blog on http://MySpace.com/MichaelSkowronski called Reprogramming Self which teaches you how to reprogram yourself including a concrete example which produced a miracle.
Kind and loving regards,

Try this. i am is me. I am god being me. God is integral with all that is. I cannot separate myself from god no matter how hard i may believe that God is up there and I am down here. It cannot be done.
So, can’t I say, “I am God?” No one can prove me wrong or right. We have NEVER been separated or
separate from God !—Doug

What about the omnipotence and omniscience of God? There is that too. Figure it out. You know but your problem is that you believe you don’t know.
Belief is the key but faith is the ANSWER.—Doug
P.S. Believe that you can. If you are God, you will know. —Doug

Wow. I found someone that thinks like me. I completely agree with your ideas. One thing that I have always thought about the Christian God is that they copied him from the god Zeus. We have to remember that Christianity was not started by Jesus and that Jesus did warn us of false religions and antichrists that will fool even his followers from listening to him and men will turn to listen to one another and their rumors instead. Christianity was started by his followers and the people that followed his followers and so on, until it wasn’t pure anymore- it was based on rumors. Some rumors are true and some are false. But most people want to believe everything they hear especially if there is the threat of death or hell. And then the religion was further corrupted by the Romans with Constantine. Then it fanned out into art protraying God as a certain white bearded man seated on clouds just like ancient Rome protrayed Zeus. Then King James decided to rewrite the Bible and distribute this “new” religion of his one God. Coincidence? I think not. All of our holidays are Christinized pagan holidays, even Christmas. I don’t think it’s bad. Just that people think they are following the right religion, when there never has been a right religion, or even uncorrupt religion. I say, follow your heart and listen to the voices in your head. Be open to light and listen with your soul and see with your third eye. Don’t trust books. Trust yourself. God is inside your head, not inside a church or a book.
