Developing Psychic Abilities: The Gift to Stay Safe
I am not sure how developing one’s psychic ability is a hindrance to love.I know that I am still able to love and more so than I was ever able to in the past before developing my awareness and psychic abilities.
One would want to develop their psychic abilities to know when they are safe or to know when they are in danger. If you have a choice to make how do you make it? If you take your time, go inside, and feel as you imagine the path each choice takes you down, then follow the path that feels the best, you wind up in magical places with magical experiences that blow your mind and satisfy your desires.
I am not advocating developing your psychic abilities as an end. Actually I advocate developing awareness which includes psychic abilities but goes beyond that and includes developing right thinking.
As for other selling points of the book…I think the book stands on its own as an enjoyable read for anyone who likes love stories, true stores, and stories that have lessons in them which clarify spiritual principals. If you like reading those sorts of books it would be worth your time and money to read Unforgettable too.
You do have a choice on what you focus on. This is a limited world, this is so true. And you should choose the things nearest and dearest to your heart’s desires to focus on since that will give you maximum energy to move through life.
If you put forth the effort and do your practices, pay attention to your thoughts and use the feelings to determine if you have set the right course for you or not, then you will find the power to bring greater comfort, simplicity and ease into your life; as well as the lives of others.
Along the lines of “The Secret”, which is so popular these days, I have created many amazing experiences and useful things. One example…in India, where I live part of the time, driving conditions are very dangerous. After too many 6 hour drives with homicidal drivers which drove me to some pretty intense road rage I decided to apply spiritual law and take control of my mind. The result was that all of my drives from that point on contained only about 2% of the dangerous close calls and rude behavior of the drives I had previously experienced. Everyone was on their best behavior when I was around.
I could go on and on giving such examples. But that is what I do in my book, except that I give far greater detail than I can afford to give here. The people who are close to me in life often remark about how uncanny it is that things always come to me in perfect ways. The number of coincidences are amazing.
When I mentioned “special” people I meant it in the same way someone who was interested in playing football would mean it if a winning super bowl coach decided to give them personal coaching on how to get into the NFL.
However in the sense that someone is special and better than someone else, that there are those with inherently more or less worth than others, is totally false idea. A great author, Saint, Pope, religious leaders, political leaders, sports figures, actors, etc…they all have a skill. That is great. We all have skills. We are all part and parcel of God. We are all special in the same way.
Living without psychic abilities is like living without eyesight or hearing. It is another natural sense that God has given us. I am not talking about knowing the future or knowing every single thought that every single person thinks. Your sight and hearing does not work that way, it is selective. So are your psychic abilities. You selectively focus them.
I am talking about awakening enough that these abilities add to your awareness of the things you are focusing on. This is not complicated.
I am trying to be helpful, not antagonistic. Hope it helps.
