Deciding on What Will Make You Happiest Part II

Finding HappinessThis is the second part of this Life Coaching Transcript for Laurie .

… but there is another piece, that I am more of an introvert in the first place, and have a HUGE creative side to my nature and have been developing my art and photography interests this last year.

Right now this may be the best thing for you to focus on. It sounds like it gives you joy and that you have less resistance in this area. Art is a very healing thing. Bring your energy to a place of great passion, joy and enthusiasm before you begin your work and your images will convey this to your admirers.

If someone asks you a question, if they actually come to you seeking comfort and advice, are you introverted or are you enthusiastic and ready to help? So remain open and let it come to you. When the time is right to make things happen you will be guided.

But most importantly know this… you affect people everyday of your life… people who will never tell you how much you changed their life. With each success you have, with each joyful moment you create within your own mind and feelings, you are adding to the light on the planet. This is a fact! This does affect thousands of people. Your desire to grow and expand draws more life force energy through us all… It has done this for me today.

And I’ve also discovered another cool possibility for a home business, creating stargazing ceilings for people with a special process available through a company called Starscapes! It is the magic-loving/creative side of me that is REALLY attracted to that, and I’ve sent for their intro kit and sample.

There are so MANY choices about how to do any one of the things I am interested in! …The other part is, I am genuinely swayed and get enthused about each area of interest as I am exposed to other people who are into the same thing or material I find on the web… most days, by the end of the day I feel dizzy from all my shifts of feeling enthused about one thing after another, and frustrated by my lack of significant momentum toward any one of them!

Some things just do catch my eye and I investigate. But I set time limits on this and I tell myself, “There will always be plenty of choices on offer. When I am ready, there will be some fantastic ground floor opportunity to get into. But right now I am doing what I love and that is teaching.”

See, again it is about reaching for the better feeling thoughts. Because the offers of great wealth feel good we tend to go towards them. This is good, until it feels bad as you described. But there are other things that feel good too, so pick the most important ones to you and make them the priority.

Referring to your hypnosis training you said heaps but I’ll focus on this:

… it involves lots of regression to cause and informed child work plus forgiveness work of others and self, and sometimes parts mediation if necessary due to secondary gain issues. Being an Abe-head, there is something about that that just doesn’t sit right with me

Hypnosis happens all the time… if you listen to Abraham speak he is always using hypnosis. All you need to do is create an altered state in someone and then program them with the tools to get to where they want.

For example…

Can you remember a time when you were hypnotized? Can you remember how being regressed felt and how it brought up all that pain? Go ahead feel that memory of all that pain now. Did it feel good? No, well don’t do that anymore!

How do you feel when you listen to Abraham? Do you feel inspired and passionate? Do you feel the sense of, “Of course this is so easy?” As you remember this feeling… know that you too can create this state in another. Listen carefully to Abraham as he does this. Let the feeling sense of it settle into your being. YOU TOO CAN DO THIS for others! Did you get that?

YOU TOO CAN DO THIS!

They want to feel good. So listen to what they complain about and recognize it is an indication of how important the topic is to them. Tell them how you understand the importance of this issue. You gain immediate rapport when you do this. Create a better feeling image around the important bits. You can do this! Repeat yourself. You can do this. The programming sinks in deeper and deeper as you repeat yourself. You can do this too! You can even do it in writing as I have just been doing with you!

Deciding on What Will Make You Happiest Part I

What Will Make You HappyLaurie has graciously given me permission to post this page. I hope that the advice I have given Laurie will help you in your life.

Laurie writes:

…My main struggle right now is trying to decide exactly what I want to do for my livelihood that will make me HAPPIEST.

…I am into MANY things, including hypnosis and meridian therapies/energy psychology.

…I think my main conflict is that, in my heart and mind, I love the idea of helping others… but inside I still feel like such a mess too much of the time that I feel almost hypocritical to think I can, when there are so many others who are so much more knowledgeable and better at it than me… but there is another piece, that I am more of an introvert in the first place, and have a HUGE creative side to my nature and have been developing my art and photography interests this last year. And in the last couple months, I have become intrigued with internet marketing and marketing in general…

…I’ve also discovered another cool possibility for a home business, creating stargazing ceilings for people with a special process available through a company called Starscapes! It is the magic-loving/creative side of me that is REALLY attracted to that, and I’ve sent for their intro kit and sample.

There are so MANY choices about how to do any one of the things I am interested in!

…I know the spiritual principles intellectually, and I know that no matter what I chose to do, if I am happy doing it, that will be the best for me and for the world.

But one of my base root beliefs/problems is that I CANNOT trust myself - so when it comes to making a choice and sticking to it, I am always second - guessing myself.

I went through hypnosis training in July 2001, but I have not actually even tried to hypnotize anyone since.

…I keep asking myself, what is holding me back from actually getting on with hypnotizing someone, even just for practice, and it feels like fear of failure/perfectionism. There is a part of me that wonders if my seeming reluctance to do that is more to do with fear of not being able to do it perfectly right off the bat, and/or of hurting someone in the process - or whether I just really would prefer to do more impersonal things for money, like inter-network marketing, art, photography, or that Starscapes thing, and/or a combination of those, and NOT FEEL RESPONSIBLE for others.

The Problem with Drugs

Golden Heart Continued from…

The problem with drugs is that we believe they are a problem and we lay our blame on them. In the past much of humanity used to blame our problems on sex. Money and greed also used to be the root of all evil. Rock and Roll even got the bad rap for a while.

What will be next?

Like fire, drugs are a tool, they can either heal or do harm. They are not a problem. Lack of self-esteem and awareness are the real problems. The sorts of drugs people take “recreationally” are enhancers and intensifiers. They enhance and intensify our state of mind. People who would do no harm to others, do no harm to others on drugs. There are plenty of people who consume illegal drugs and are not doing harm to others, they are even helping others.

A person who commits a harmful act under the influence of drugs, only revels the confusion and insanity that lives in their mind. In many ways it is good that they took the drugs, and finally let the sickness that was living in their minds out to be seen. Now it can be addressed… or can it? Not if one blames the problem just created on the drugs or those who sell them.

The problem is in the mind of the individual who created the problem, not the drugs.

Now, I know of plenty of reformed drug addicts who would say, “I would never harm another person, but when I was using drugs, I did.” Yet, in their energy I can feel they are still intending harm even now. Some people say that is different than doing harm. No, not really. By holding it in your intention the energy is out there and it will create. Under stress, it will come out directly through you. Drugs can put the body under extreme stress. It is at those times that the practiced, habitual thoughts comes out; in words and deeds.

This is one way to know when you have met someone who understands their oneness with the All That Is. Under stress, they continue to treat the other as they would like to be treated. And that is with Love and Compassion.

You see, we really have no right to judge others in any way. No one is free of guilt in the intending harm department. Even if you do not do it now, you have at some point in your eternal life. This could become quite a big topic, so I will just leave it at that for now.

All problems have the same source, not knowing who you really are. That is intentional. The game of life was setup that way. The only solution worth pursuing, the only game worth playing, is getting to know one’s own True Self.

Which brings us around to the war on drugs…Pushing against anything, resisting anything, only creates more of it. It is in the nature of God, the perfection of Our evolution, that it is Our focus that creates and increases creation…even if that creation is harmful. Eventually the creation will become so big that there is no denying how it came to be and how to change it.

Thus this problem we call drugs too shall pass. Would you like that to happen sooner or later? If your answer is sooner, take a different course of action. Stop pushing against drugs and accept them as nothing more than a choice, a choice we will cease to make once we have healed our self-esteem and had enough experience with living a life that does work and is gratifying.

Stop making new laws and reverse the existing laws against drugs. Stop making others feel worse for taking them. Focus on loving those who consume drugs and lead them to the joys of life. Love them so completely, make a clear and aware life so appealing, that they can see the pain they are inflicting on themselves, and see through your example a better way that does work.

It is very sad how many of our brothers and sisters and children we have allowed our legal system to imprison merely because they consume drugs. One person is too many.

Our prisons are way too inhumane to continue as they are. Please understand the insanity of our current system. We punish, torture and abuse people who are mentally ill. They must be ill for them to commit a crime. Then after a long period of time we set them free with the new skills they learned in prison. Can you imagine the new level of respect they would have for a society that would do such a thing. How barbaric, can’t you see why things keep getting worse? What do we expect? This energy came from those who drug us by the ears.

Contemplate on all We have taught you and see if you can imagine a future where we actually teach and heal offenders instead of punishing them. There are a lot of new age healers around these days who are wishing they had people to heal. Maybe we could put them to work.

What you do to the least of my brother, you do unto me.

Your children and grand children will have to grow up in this world we are creating. You will incarnate again into this world.

Love is the answer to all of our problems. It really and truly is. Please, choose it sooner, in every thought and action, rather than later.

Love and blessings to you,

Many Gods, Conflicting Theories - Who is Right?

Worshipping GodsHow can anyone tell you who God is? How can a church, a religion, or any teacher tell you who or what God is? They can not!. Have they seen Him? Have they talked to Her? Of course not! Not in the physical sense that so many seem to think that God is in.

Our language is not rich enough to put into words the incredible unlimited nature of God. The only thing anyone can do is describe to you how they have come to know and experience God. And even then the fullness and intensity of their experience will be lost in their words.

If you have been reading the various spiritual books on the topic of God and spirituality you may have noticed many inconsistencies or contradictions amongst authors. This includes all books; “The Bible” as well as the huge volume of modern books available to us.

You may have read some books that have been channeled and thought, “Because some spiritual entity is teaching through this author or speaker it must be true.” Then you read another author and find contradictions. How can they both be right?

Please keep in mind that the spiritual truth is given but the channeler (or author) may have blocks, judgments or set ideas about certain topics. These will interfere with accurate channelings. The truth is so much bigger than can be put into words; much of it gets lost as it is condensed down into the limited constructs that we use to communicate with.

You must consider the perspective that the communication is coming from and of the issue being addressed. It would be like a being from another planet trying to describe planet earth from his space ship orbiting the earth or while standing in the desert. The description may be accurate from those perspectives, yet there are many other descriptions that could be given from many other perspectives that are also accurate. How much different would the description be if this being were standing on the ocean floor?

God is everywhere and everything; there is nowhere that God is not. There is nothing outside of God, not even you and I. We exist inside of God; indeed we are a part of God, an inseparable part. There is no part of us that is not God. However, we are at the leading creative edge of God. We are expanding the Universe, we are expanding God, with each and every thought we think and with each new experience we have.

God is not some being that can somehow be perceived standing in some specific spot in creation. God is every single particle of all of creation in each and every dimension. God is the “All That Is.” To describe God is to compare God to something else and that something else is God too! Can you see how difficult it is try to explain God? You must experience God for yourself!

We do have many lifetimes. I am absolutely convinced of this. Some people find this difficult to believe. Why? Is it any more amazing than we exist at all?

I went through a five-year period in my life where I suffered with extremely painful back pains every single night. I tried doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists and massage therapists; I tried more than one of each and found no relief. One day I did a past life regression on myself. That night, no more back pain! And I have not had them since. This was an instant healing!

You can read this amazing story in my Unforgettable: A Love and Spiritual Growth Story. You will also find the story of how my late wife Kathryn healed a twenty-five year loss of smell and a severe skin condition that lasted ten-years…it prevented her from putting her hands in water! All three of these stories were miraculous healings that occurred as a result of becoming aware and changing our thinking! I also expand more on the conclusions my spiritual journey has brought me to in this book.

Your Personal Spiritual Discoveries
I don’t want to convince you of what you should believe about God or spirituality. However, I do want to convince you to reach for your own experience and understanding. I know that when you do get in touch with the vast spiritual being that you are, you will have experiences that will seem miraculous.

The truth is that these miracles are natural. When you shed the false ideas you have been taught all your life and discover for yourself the true nature of your being you will realize that true spirituality is practical, very practical!

You will discover that by using true spiritual principals you can make every action you take count. This beats the widely popular, yet false belief, that working hard and suffering in the hopes of some future gain is a worthy and noble way to live. When you clarify your awareness you may still find yourself working long hours, but they will be inspired hours that fly by. Those hours will infuse you with life force energy and heal any suffering you may have had in your life.

Solving the Really Big Issues in Your Life

How to Solve Real Life IssuesIn regards to solving the really big issues in your life…are you asking the wrong question?

The problem with getting clear guidance is that you could very well be asking the wrong question. You have a goal and that goal is really far out there. It is very far removed from what you believe is possible. The thought of reaching for that goal is so impossible that you don’t even want to try.

So your question should not be, “How do I get to that goal?” You are not clear enough to receive the complete plan. Your question should be, “What is the next step for me in becoming a vibrational match to that goal?”

Then you feel your way and take a step, always in the direction towards something that feels good, in the direction of your goal. It can be any step that feels good. It may even be the smallest step possible. It may even be that you chill out and go out for a day of play. But you do it and you reach to be happy and content with where you are.

The next step after that is to do it again…and again…and again…until your goal is in sight. You keep taking such steps until your goal is the next logical step. Until it is so close that you can see it and reach out and touch it.

This is when you shall have it, when the answer is so obvious that it no longer seems like a miracle.

After having it for a little while you may find yourself stopping to wonder, “Why did this seem so impossible to me before?”

The Parable of the Wedding Banquet Part II: Life is Far Grander

There is More to LifeThe wedding clothes represent the attitude with which people are approaching Life. An attitude is something we put on and can be changed as easily as your clothes can be changed. The wrong kind of attitude gets you “Tied up hand and foot, thrown outside into the darkness, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Being tied up hand and foot is a metaphor for a life that SUCKS! It is a metaphor for a life where you are helpless. Thrown out into the darkness is a metaphor for misunderstanding life, yet thinking you are right. Blaming others for the suffering that is going on in your life is a symptom of being in the darkness. One who blames cannot remember the misdeeds of the past or refuses to accept that their thoughts attracted such events into their lives. One who is in the darkness does not even realize that in a moment they can sit down, close their eyes, quiet their mind, and find the kingdom of heaven inside of themselves. And I assure you that it is quite possible to do exactly that even in the midst of the most horrific tragedies that Life has to offer.

Being tied up hand and foot is where other people and outside circumstances are responsible for your happiness and physical well-being. And you are in the dark if you think life is really like that because it is not!

Weeping and gnashing of teeth is complaining, blaming, seeking revenge, seeking to punish and it is the condition that way too many people find in their lives. Have you ever noticed how people who are heavily into religion and preach hell and damnation and who condemn and judge others are also the ones who are weeping and gnashing their teeth? Have you ever noticed that the ones who totally ignore any sort of spiritual practice, who refuse to observe the relationship between their thoughts and their feelings, who refuse to even feel at all, are also the ones who are often found weeping and gnashing their teeth?

How often does this describe you? I am not trying to insult you, I am not judging you, and I don’t even need to know the answer, but you do…because an honest answer can set you free.

The solution is easy. Come to the banquet properly attired. Come to Life with Love in your heart and great appreciation for the gift you have been given. You have LIFE, the greatest gift there is.

When you are complaining about Life (which is God) or another person (who is also God), you are either abusing the servants or showing up at the banquet improperly attired. Your results…well you are living them now. Your experience of Life is telling you what kind of banquet guest you have been. Would you like your experience, your life, to be different? Would you like it to be better?

The first place to start is with your thoughts AND feelings. Observe the relationship between the two. And then think only thoughts which make you feel good. If you find yourself feeling bad, then change your thinking, stop whatever you are doing and get a grip on your mind before you proceed. Your actions will follow your thoughts, so I am not asking you to focus on your actions. If you really become aware of both your thoughts and feelings your actions will follow.

Self-Esteem and Healthy Habits Part II

Enhance Your Self-Esteem TipsI remember that I used to think everyone had it sorted out. It was just me that had to struggle and work so hard to keep up. It was too difficult trying to keep everyone happy. It seemed no matter what I did someone would be unhappy. Finally, only just a few short years ago really, I realized that just the opposite was true. That nearly everyone was struggling to maintain their own sense of self-esteem.

But if you think about it, who is it that has the authority to look at you, or anyone else, and pass judgment? Who is it to say you are worthy or not? There is no person. Not even one who has healthy self-esteem, not even one who is a master, not even a fully enlightened being and certainly not a government official or politician. No one can do this to you. They may try, but if you do not except it then it cannot be so.

So again we can see that right thinking is at the core of our self-esteem. Now remember we are not talking about morals when we talk about right thinking, not really. Right and wrong are very subjective. Oh, plenty of people think they know what is right and what is wrong but the firmer they are in their stances; the less likely it is that they really do know. When you are thinking or doing right, you will feel good. When you are thinking or doing wrong, you will feel bad. If you tune into your true feelings, and don’t lie to yourself, you will have the most perfect guidance you could ever dream of having. In this world with so many screwed up ideas about living, right thinking can be a bit confusing. But with time and practice you will find this tip about feelings to be absolutely infallible. Without right thinking you will only go in circles and live in constant frustration and confusion.

Once you have this clarity of mind, and enough of your habits line up with your values and with right thinking, then healthy self-esteem will come. And you will be well on your way to enlightenment and grander experiences of the Godliness that dwells with in you.

Love and blessings,
Michael Skowronski

P.S. My book Unforgettable is not just a romance and true story, but it shows the evolution of two people as they tackle these very issues and transform their lives and personalities. It was written to help people bridge the gap between an intellectual knowledge of spiritual principals and an experiential understanding, and to motivate them to try for themselves.

Self-Esteem and Healthy Habits

Ways to Improve Self Esteem through Healthy HabitsFeeling rejected, feeling less than, less important, less worthy, judgment of self or others, are all at the basis of low self-esteem.

Feeling strong, confident, secure and knowing that you are doing your best, loving others even though they are not perfect, lack of judgment, following your own moral values are the basis for healthy self-esteem.

Habits are at the center of our personality; they come from our subconscious. We have habits in our lives, some of them serve us and others do not. But how often do we question them and consciously reprogram them?

Correcting something you find that is “not so nice within yourself,” or others, is not about appreciating that it is there. That is a misunderstanding. Why is it there? Because somewhere along the track, somewhere in your past you created this habit of thought and action. Now it is for you to reprogram yourself such that balance is achieved and a new and empowering habit is formed.

When bad and painful things occur, when your judgments begin to come out, you can appreciate the situation because you have a chance to grow, you have a chance to see what needs correcting, which is more likely to be your judgment rather than the outer circumstance. You can appreciate and love the people involved, even if you do not love their behavior.

You love others; you love yourself, because God is inside. Jesus said, “What you do to the least of my brother you do to me.” That is because in reality we are all one being. The thoughts, the behaviors, may need to evolve, but you can still love anyway.

Are we being honest? If not, then there will be some sort of guilt, which erodes self-esteem.

Are we being loving? If not, then how do we expect to feel well with that unloving energy moving through us.

Are we in judgment? If so then we will judge ourselves too, because we are all one the reality is that we are judging ourselves.

Are we hiding, blaming others, manipulating, stealing, looking for approval, desperate, needy? All of these thought and behavior patterns will make it difficult, if not impossible to have healthy sense of self-esteem. There may be extenuating circumstances that a person with healthy self-esteem finds themselves in where they may have to hide or manipulate a situation for the better. But if you do not have a healthy sense of self-esteem, and this is your regular pattern, even if there are good reasons you need to behave in this way, your progress will be slow.

It is important that you work these issues out, even on the smallest level, or you will have some guilt that remains inside. If you are working on these issues, and making progress, and understanding how the changes are made, it will be much easier to relax and love yourself through the process.

Forgiveness & Bad Things Part II

Love Story Book - Forgiveness and Bad ThingsA Course in Miracles says that God does not condemn because there is nothing to forgive. To arrive at this conclusion however will require a different perspective than the one from which pain and suffering occur on. It will also require practice. When you are in emotional distress you have less energy, less power available to you. That is when we fall into habits and run on automatic pilot. So it is essential to develop new habits when you are feeling good, or at least in a neutral place.

Let’s explore a real life example given to me by a woman who lost her only sibling to murder. She said that she was looking forward to seeing “the day of repentance” rather than “the day of judgment” for his murders. That means she is very close to grasping the deeper lessons in her experience.

This exercise falls under the categories of both contemplation and right thinking. Ideas you can explore in such a situation are:

  • Why do I suffer because a loved one is dead?
  • Is it for my loss or is it because I am afraid of death?
  • Can I have some sign, some experience, that tells me my loved one is trying to let me know that they are well?
  • Can I savor and remember that sign when I am feeling loss?
  • Can I recognize and appreciate what it is that I still do have? Perhaps their absence freed up some energy that I can now direct in new ways.
  • Can I appreciate that I have plenty of things, people, loved ones, to get by for just this one day, just this one single moment?

And there are many other thoughts that you can use to transform your feeling about it. Keep on reaching for new thoughts until you feel a change. This is exercise for the mind! The more you practice the stronger you will be and the better you will get at it. If you are stuck on some aspect of this please ask for help. You must make friends with a new perspective, you must find a new way to view the pain and suffering such that the pain and suffering disappear. I assure you that it is possible. Then use this new perspective to dig yourself out of an emotional hell hole the next time you find yourself in one.
